I'm leaving my employer of almost 6 years tomorow... I'm excited and sad all at the same time! excited that i will be starting a new chapter in the book called 'life' and sad that i will be leaving alot of friends behind. I will be heading back to Adelaide for a few months to spend some time with my family, I hope to be getting alot of contract web work... and then in November i'm off to Niseko to 'Live the Dream' as Pbs would say.

Perisher Blues
I spent the weekend at Perisher Blue in the New South Wales Snowy Mountains, and i have to say that the management of the resort is very bad! The service from staff is terrible, the food is bad and expensive, the likely hood of good conditions is minimal and the crowds and lift lines are enormous! I did get a chance to meet up with a friend i met in Niseko, which was good, and we did get a wicked ride down the ridge Quad chair run (infact it was the first time it had opened all season!!) alas when we got to the bottom of the run the lift had broken and we spent 1 3/4 hours in the lift line of about 500-600 people waiting for them to fix it! and when they couldn't they put it on Evac mode, which is basically the lift running at about a 1/4 speed so it then took another 30 mins to get to the top! NOT GOOD ENOUGH PERISHER... you had months to service your equiptment, and we pay big fucking bucks to you so you can get us back to the top as quickly as possible... there were NO apologies from the Perisher management!! Well i guess i learnt my lesson and will never be returning to Perisher again!

I've started posting images on my melonBrain site. There's are many more to go up... in time... which is something that seems to go faster each day!

My friend Pbs has gone to ニセコ　where he is having a much better time than me :( you can read his thoughts here. I will be heading to ニセコ in November for a 5 month stint.

I just bought a copy of Colin Moocks MX Power Tour on cd... it's basically a hand held shot video of one of his flash conferences, haven't actually had a chance to get a good look at it yet, i bought it from flashinto.com, it cost about $50 AUD.
