Are you embarresed?
I know I'm NOT!
Australian Greens senators Bob Brown and Kerry Nettle interupted George Dubya during his speech in Australian Parliment yesterday, Senator Brown twice interrupted Mr Bush's speech, calling for the release of the Australian detainees from Guantanamo Bay, and saying Australia was not a sheriff.
Speaker Neil Andrew ordered Senator Brown to leave the chamber. Brown refused to go, and was not forcibly removed. Senator Nettle also interrupted Mr Bush's speech, to express her concerns about a possible free trade deal with the US.
Premiere Bob Carr said the actions taken by the senators was an embarassment to the Australian public, and was really "child like behaviour"... excuse me Mr Carr but how else are the concerns of the world ever gonna be heard with this GWB ass kissing goverment running the country?
However there was no footage captured by Australian cameras and the only footage we got to see was from an American TV crew, Dubya looked a little mistified but went on to say "I Love Free Speech." YEAH SO DO WE SO WHY THE FUCK DIDN'T WE GET TO HEAR WHAT WAS ACTUALLY SAID!!! - I just hope that the Greens action was legitimate and not just a political stunt to gain votes from concerned Australians in the next election?!

Pringles anyone?
::excert from computerworld.com::

The U.S. Secret Service has hooked up Pringles cans to notebook computers equipped with wireless LAN access cards and begun war driving around Washington and other cities in an effort to sniff out unsecured WLANs.

That puts the Secret Service, whose primary mission is to guard the president, in the company of hobbyist WLAN war drivers who cruise cities and towns around the world to detect and map unsecured WLAN systems.

Wlan Health risks?
::excert from netstumbler.com::

Unstrung has been asking around recently to find out if there are any potential health risks associated with the growing use of wireless LAN technology. We wondered if the growing use of 802.11b technology -- in our homes, cafés, and other public areas -- with the resultant increase in radio traffic all around us should be a cause for concern.

The answer seems to be... Maybe

Port Julia long weekend
just spent the long weekend in port julia, with some friends at a family shack, It was great. Port Julia is near Port Vincent on the Yorke Peninsula, very scenic, did some fishing off a jetty, caught squid and had them for dinner...Yummy!... while walking alond the base of a cliff front on the shore line we saw a couple of peregrine falcons and my position was obviously not to their liking as the larger of the two birds made repeated noisy flybys until i retreated... awsome! here's some photo's.
