Erm...
I've kinda fallen into a groove of sleeping, snowboarding, eating spaghetti bolognaise (about the only thing i can cook) and working at my friends bar some nights DJing and pouring beers...the bar work is good, im not getting paid but i do get free food at the pizza bar upstairs (which is a nice change from the spagehetti) and free drinks after 12midnight... and i get to try to speak japanese... I have applied for a visa extension and hopefully should know if that is sucsessful in the next few days...if so i'll be here until early May! The snow is still a bir slow but have had some excellent powder days in the last week or so!
my friends keep asking me where are the photos from my journey...erm...well you see...i'm lazy...hee hee
i'll dedicate the next bad snow day to resizing images and will post some in my gallery the next time i get to go online... maybe;)

Happy New Year 2004
Well what can i say..Yes it's been ages since my last post but alot has happened and i've been busy celebrating the festive season the New Year and Riding in some lovely Powder Snow! OH Yeah it's been tipping down here for about a week or so.. and everyday it just gets better!
Happy New Year to all my Family and friends, i hope you all had a great Xmas/New year... I know i did! Yes i got very drunk and dont remember much from New Years eve...
Here in Niseko they have a celebration on new years eve called the "countdown Party" where a pack of people ski down the mountain with fireworks strapped to their backs... i vaugley remember it ;) as there was free "Nihon Shou" Sake being handed out... i do remember the hangover i had the next day though.
I just looked out the window and it's kinda hard to see as the snow is falling so heavily! another early start tommorow... I usually get up around 8.30/9.00 and try to get on the mountain before 9.30/10.00 but when it's snows like this i have to make the extra effort to get my lazy arse out of bed at 7.30 and get on the mountain at 8.30 for the first lift and fresh tracks! - there's been to many occasions though when i've dragged myself from bed after 10am as a result of late nights and good "Nihon Shou"...
もっとゆきもっとゆき!
